Description
Captured 6/5/10, at the beautiful 25th Annual HB Concours, held at the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
Utterly cool via ZOOM.
In case you're wondering, this is not how it looked coming off the factory floor, especially with that massive engine. This style is somewhat typical of the model when drastically modified by car enthusiasts. And, although listed as a 1942 model, it was manufactured in late 1941, because Willys converted to building Jeeps in 1942, a full war year.
I believe the hood/bonnet was removed to display the entire engine for the auto show.
Ta-ta, and have a nice day.

JUUUST a bit souped up, eh? I like that big air-cooled carburator, but at first glance it looked like a big gun; that might be a cool modification in some circumstances! But I digress. Your usual great compilation of views of this yellow and chrome beauty, Harry. Excellent shots all, as always sir!

Now that's COOL! What a ride.. But Harry, I'm sorry (don't panic lol), I have noticed, on the bottom picture, behind to the right as you look at it, is MY Father MG, (well not THE one but..) LOL Yes, I am an MG nut! A great set of photos, I am loving these car shots.. Thanks mate! Rob

Some great photos of this beautiful Willy's. This is pretty much the typical style I have seen for modifying these. Check out the Stone, Woods, and Cooke drag car. It's the first Willy's I recall ever seeing.
