Description

This is a juvenile White Ibis and I know that you like them Chip. We are not sure how s/he arrived along our lake because this one was very small and so were the wings. This little cutie will grow up to be 25 inches (64cm) long with a wing span of about 38 inches (97cm). Large groups, 50 or more, arrive daily and walk around our lake eating insects. We call them our pest control team. None of us have ever seen one so small. A great zoom. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana
