Description
Woke up this morning to new fallen snow, so went out for a walk around our property & took lots of pictures. The snow wasn't really heavy, but just enough to give the branches a nice frosty look & there was a layer of fog that added some nice atmosphere. This is a large oak that unfortunately is not very healthy (a large part of it has broken off), but it's still beautiful in it's own way...

Oaks have a presence that other trees don't seem to have (or maybe that's just me, because I live in a place where they're few and far between!). This one is no exception. It has such a beautiful, almost bonsai look about it, and the snow highlights every perfect curve and fork. Gorgeous image!
