Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

What a wonderful capture Barbara, it really made me smile. I'm certain you're right that Meadow is eager to get out and run, and I bet Jasmine misses having her out there

Beautiful shot of these two lovely ladies! I understand your concern. I hate to let my Rottweiler into our backyard, as we still have the pond, that I believe, infected my sweet Brutus. Thank goodness Chuck, my rottie has no symptoms of the disease, and and ultra sound shows no signs of internal infection. His blood test did come back borderline positive for exposure, but that only means he has the antibodies in his blood stream. So I will watch him closely and have him tested at regular intervals. The pond will be filled this spring when the weather dries up. I wont risk another of my dogs passing that way.

Yes I am sure she wants to go. And share your concern for the virus. Glad she is doing well. :)

It will be so good when she can do just that Barbara, but remember more haste less speed, resting her is doing her good right now, although I am sure she does not appreciate that lol, hugs and love xxxxx

Its wonderful to see these 2 having a romp. Wont be long now untill they can be back at this again. About a week before she got so sick, Meadow had a sore foot. Its entirely possible that is how she got tetnaus, she might have stepped on a rusty nail or something sharp. Her foot seemed to feel better, but the infection was already in her system. I'm so glad to hear she is recovering so well, it is a very tough infection to recover from, but she is in such good shape it helped her fight it off, not to mention the loving care she recieved from you and her doctors.

Such a worry. I wonder how she managed to get it.

I've never heard of a dog getting tetnaus. I'm so glad she's on the mend. CC

It will be good for her to get the fresh air & exercise! I pray nothing like this ever happens again!

Aw you have only her best interest at heart Barbara. She will continue to love you no matter how long it takes to get back. Thanks for sharing the photo of gals speeding up a storm.

I'm guessing this isn't a recent picture as I don't think Meadow has been allowed to run like this yet. I cannot wait either, to see her running like this again. I can totally understand you're reluctance to let her run there again. I woud be reluctant too, to let either dog run in those fields again, yet, how they enjoy running there!

Lovely shot

Do you think that she stepped on a rusty nail or barbed wire? So happy that she is continuing to grow stronger. A wonderful photo Barbara!
