Description

...who remembered me. It is a goodness to find out that one is missed. Thank you my friend. We all do it. We get busy, we keep on with the distractions of our individual lives and don't notice--or notice way long after the fact--that one of our community is missing. We wonder if that person is okay, we hope he or she is okay but we continue on with the distractions of our own lives. This can happen in both the regular and the cyber world. I know. I've been guilty of doing exactly the same thing. In the cyber-world, since we never meet face to face and often don't even know what a person even looks like, it may be even easier to forget about a person who seems to have disappeared from our CG community. However, I do have this Dutch friend, efron_241, who has never let me disappear for too long a time. Usually, within a month he will send me a Rendo mail asking if I'm okay. Sometimes I am. Sometimes I'm not. But I can't begin to express my gratitude that he remembers. In this most recent case, I've been very depressed. (It is due to physical conditions related to aging and not to my circumstances, which are fine.) However, I have found it very difficult to even get out of bed, let alone create an image or respond to the wonderful things you folks have posted in your galleries. Day after day, during a season that normally is among my most positive and highest in terms of my energy and creativity, there has been none. I would sit at the computer and do nothing day after day. And then comes this simple little message from across the Atlantic: "Are you okay?" Two days later, I sat down and did this image. It is not one of my best, but it is a good image, I think. Need I say more? So, if you have a cyber-friend that has gone missing for a long time, you might consider sending him or her a little note to let them know they are important to you and that you care about them. Thanks as always for your visits, comments pro and con and entertaining, and other encouragements. I am blessed to have all of you in my life. Jeremy CREDITS: Figure: Predation's "Loretta Lorez" (DAZ) wearing evil innocence's "Cyanide" clothing (Renderosity or evilinnocence). Vehicle: petipet's "Pickup Dred" (DAZ). Structure: Herminio Nieves's "Weird House" (ShareCG). Trees: my "Alien Pines" adapted from modulaz's "Old Woods"(RDNA). Weeds: Dreampaint's "Plant 13" and "Plant 14" (no longer available on the Internet).

Awww how WELL I know what those little notes mean, also, Jeremy!! Aging is NOT fun, it IS depressing to be unable to do things we used to...but thank goodness for this community! Big Hugs! and thank you for the message...you have, I think, 'paid it forward' if that is the right expression from the movie I can't remember (with my aging brain! LOL)... you got a note, you made this great image and reminded (as well as thanked) others, letting all know how much it means!

I suffer through 6 months out of the year with artistic from h#ll and winter which when combined I'm surprised I can do the things i can do on any given day...If not for my wood burner and keeping the chill away I'd be here way less than i am now....Getting older is never fun and having a friend or 2 or 3 or so does help when knowing your thought of every now and again.... ~smiles~

Nice image, Jeremy. It's great to see something from you and even better that there are people out there who miss you when you're not around.

Marvelous image and dedication to a true friend. You don't have to live next door to be close.
