I figured I should put sometime up for my bio. Between work and all my other projects/activities, I haven't spent enough time on Renderosity...
Anyway, my background in programming/psychology/ergonomics doesn't provide enough creative expression for me. I had wanted to be a writer (SF/Fantasy) for years (though I realized that I would never be an Orson Scott Card or a Joss Whedon) and love the art here on Renderosity (thought I'm not artistically talented enough to shine in this arena), but finally decided that cartooning (playing with ideas more than words or images) was more my thing. Some of those SF/Fantasy stories I may turn into a comic strip (or graphic novel).

Interesting concepts... But the question remains the same: What is truth? What is reality? I believe each belief system(s) gives only a sliver of the whole but enough to placate the humanity. Religion is man's attempt to tell and define God/Universe to the rest of the universe as well as himself... And that's another dialog worth exploring after death... :)

Interesting notion. I rather think that these days you could add a whole new religion - Science. There are, sadly, many who seem to be as fanatical in their belief in science as some religious fundamentalists. Personally, I only believe what can be repeatedly demonstrated - which makes me atheist - but the fanatics pillory and shout down anyone who holds contrary views or opinions which, in my book, is not science. As a scientist, I am willing to concede my opinion may be wrong, especially if evidence is presented against it. Yes, this could be controversial. :-)
