Description
The same day I found the other fungus, I found this stump with "level" fungi. One more morning gift for my camera :) FUll size is better.

This is exciting! It's fungi, it's lichen, its all natural. The colors are superb and the photo makes me think it was a nice, damp day, the kind of day that's really good for writing and doing all kinds of creative stuff. I think the colors are perfectly intense; the light is a little bit diffuse, but the colors are sharp and clear, as if they're in direct sunlight. Stunning! This is really great!

This is so pretty! My next door neighbors have a slice of a tree trunk that's just covered with these same frilly little fungi. I tried to capture them but so far haven't gotten a good one. Your shot is wonderful!
