Description

As I was sort of half dreaming, half awake this morning, Mr. Grey-Wolf came to me and said: "try the Alpha Moikana hair on me." So, I did and here it is :) His bangs and top are not 'red' but painted with red-ochre paste. On this site are some images painted by James Ayers of Pawnee and you can see what their rather unique traditional hairstyles looked like: http://jamesayers.com/?s=pawnee Very lovely paintings and some interesting information there too if you're of a mind to read. The Pawnee hunted and camped in eastern Colorado on what is now known as the 'Pawnee Buttes National Grasslands'. Two buttes stand on what is otherwise a pretty flat, featureless plain and it is easy to see why they were drawn to this place...aside from the many buffallo that used to roam out there. Yes, I have a 'thing' about the Pawnee - especially the Skidi Pawnee. Thanks Jo for making this great hair! I love all your hair sets - think there's only three or four I don't have. They're wonderful to work with!! ***** Thank you for stopping by dear friends! Your comments and faves are much appreciated :) As for Miss Sancha, that was just a pinup of her. You'll have to wait and see how she is ;) Cheers, Ray SRG_Clay by me (YURDigital) Pants are from Valiant (DAZ) 'Spear' is the Rilaun Dangal w the shaft retextured to wood.

This is excellent! The hair is a perfect compliment to this native inspired character. The well done pose and expression implies he's on a serious hunt. Nice work.

This is tickling the imagination. Has he found a trade, maybe not... It's difficult to read it of his face, he has an inscrutable face expression. A great native story and image! Gr.Rudy.

Something about a mohawk that just says "Bad Ass". Especially on a warrior like this. Tremendous.

You were caught up between the worlds and unlike what happens so often, you remembered and were able to capitalize on the experience. An interesting and rather unusual environment for a Pawnee don'tcha think?, maybe a long distance scout on the front range, or maybe just in a hollow area in the grasslands. Thanks for the link; those painting are fantastic and really take you back in time. Very thoughtful work that guy does.
