Painted as the RAAF aerobatic team "The Telstars". The RAAF's aerobatic team is now known as "The Roulettes".

Neat photo of a very fine aircraft. I find it interesting that a lot of wood is used in construction of this early jet fighter... But there was still plenty of expertise to do so in the late forties and early fifties. Well done. Would love to visit the RAAF Museum in Melbourne one day.

I love all those old "V" jets. Telstar? Must have been the name clash with Telstra eh? ;-) Anything called Telstra would surely take a few weeks to do "a loop the loop... "
