It really is beautiful Helle, and so easy to see why you treasure it so much. I'm sure you're Mom must have loved wearing it.

What a treasure! It appears more copper than silver and it's a lovely piece. A pendant like this could be slipped on a chain and worn for so many occasions. You are so lucky!

PK, it must be the warm afternoon which makes it look warmer than it is, but it is made of 83% silver and the rest is copper, which is normal also for sterling silver. If it was only silver, it would be so soft, that it couldnt after so many years hanging around my mothers neck, stay in same shape without damage.. on the backside of the little triangle is written HRo. 830S. The last 4 means 83% silver. But I dont think the stone is something special. I honestly dont know. Pity I dont know how to add a photo here of the triangle to show the numbers.

It is a lovely piece. I wear my jewellery most days as now that I don't go out much it would never be worn, I know it looks a bit silly with my work clothes but I love jewellery and I am past worrying about what people think of me.

I love silver jewelry, and this is a beautiful piece! Since I've retired I rarely wear any of mine any more, but I still enjoy having it! Maybe when I get my camera thing figured out I'll do a series on jewelry. You are an endless source of inspiration and wonderful ideas! :)

Thank you for sharing this 'old jewelery'. It's such a beauty. In the past I wear jewelery, but now just seldom. Just as Tara tels.
