Description
Oooookay. My sister had the flu, and after helping her, I got it. So while lying in bed trying to remember my name, I picked up my iPad and made 10 of the finest pieces of art since the Sistine Chapel. (These are incredible drawings, people.) For clarification: The first drawing's a horse. (He's wearing sunglasses.) And the last drawing's a conductor. I thank you in advance for even looking! (No I'm not 5 years old, I just act like it sometimes...)

Your doodles are filled with joy, even with the flu. That's enough to make that mean ole' bug run for cover. Get well soon. CC

Brilliant works! ... had to zoom in to really appreciate the finer details. I think my favorite is the 4th one down on the left - the beaver/squirrel wiping his mouth with a napkin. (... or is it a puppy yawning? eh.) Love your intro as well. P.S. Your name is Mark. Hope you feel better soon.

I have enjoyed these immensely. They may be fast doodles but there is spirit here. There is life. There is joy. And yes, harmony and peace. Does the flu bring out the inner you? :)

IIIHIHIHHI!! They are simply wonderful. I agree with Bill totally. I just adore these little very expressive cartoons. You have your own MARK style and I certainly hope you will never stop drawing them, as they spread light and smiles to us all. :-DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Thank you for this wide smile you gave me this morning, dear Mark. :)))

These really are wonderful looking doodles Mark, and Lucinda told me about you posting them last night when we spoke. So sorry to hear you have the flu, and I'll put you and your sister in my prayers that you can both recover soon. What touched me most is that despite the obvious miserable condition you are in you took time to create these fun doodles for your friends. That is why I rushed to your gallery this morning, because of the lift it would give me in seeing them and feeling the good vibes after reading all of the thoughtful comments left by your friends. I'm going to come back later tonight and examine them closer to pick out my favorite.

It was your doodle that first drew me to your site, which then led to such a great friendship. These are great and the dancer (well, I think she's dancing!!) is my favorite!! more, more more--and I hope you're much better!!

Its a mazing how low a microscopic organism unseen to the naked eye can bring us down real low even in the face of such a formidable foe to get these doodlicious pieces out is a fine thing get well soon my friend!!

I like your dogs (they are dogs, aren't they? Or are they horses? I don't know, my eyes aren't what they used to be...) Fun stuff, Mark; hope you feel better soon!

I love them all. But, as a conductor I had to focus on the last one. I appreciate that the arms are sooo very visible as that is what the musicians should be focusing on. However, that Hitler-esque mustache would be somewhat distracting, even if he is singing (fortissimo) along with the bass line. Also, my baton is broken so this totally works for me as a reliable ictus. :-) Very cheery drawings!

MAGNIFICENT WORK
flavia49
LOL!! great work!!

A most interesting array of domestic lifeforms, I must say, Mark. Much talent on display here. In fact, drawings akin to Vincent van Gogh's paintings while sitting out in a corn field under a broiling sun. Anyway, at least you were able to create some needed humor while in the grasp of the nasty influenza bug, in itself becoming so prominent here in the USA. Hope you recover rapidly and can get back to your old productive self.

These have made me chuckle, but you do sound to be in a bad way with your flu when you can't even draw a straight line :), must be the medication lol. I hope you get better soon. Some of these have quite a flair to them eg. the dancing man, he really does have style but the conductor looks to be in a really bad mood. :) Take care.

I hope you feel better soon.
