You never get used to "the long sleep". No matter how many trips you make, you never get used to it. Your pulse slows, almost to a stop, your breathing becomes slow and shallow, your temperature drops, and it is as close to death as you can come without dying. 10 light-years, 10,000 light-years, it doesn't matter.
