Meanwhile, back in the UK somewhere...
Xavier had called Clay into his offices after his class was done. Cherry had already left and gone home. Clay had no idea what it was all about. Xavier sat at his desk with a smug smile and told Clay to have a seat. "I like my special people to be happy," he began. "You and Cherry are some of my special people. I've gone to great lengths to locate someone that is special to you both. Cherry doesn't know and I've kept this under my hat for nearly a week now. I must say I am quite charmed by this person. She's absolutely wonderful!"
"She...?" Clay asked with a glimmering of hope in his eyes.
"Taysha?" Xavier said. "You can come out now."
Clay's mouth dropped open as his older sister emerged from behind the sidewall of Xavier's library/office. The scene that followed is easily imagined after all that had passed between.
"Take her home and surprise Cherry now," Xavier grinned. "My work here is done! Sort of."
Clay saw that Cherry was in the kitchen as he led Taysha through the back door. "Ohhhh, Cherry!" They came around the corner and Cherry about dropped the pan she was holding as she cried out in happiness. "You remember her, don't you?"
Of course she did. Taysha was like the big sister she never had. It was Taysha who took her shopping for her prom dress (paid for by Clay), did her hair and makeup for the dance and made her look so pretty no one recognized her.

Taysha's name means 'friend' in the Caddo language of the Pawnee. She inherited their grandmother's Irish coloration. She grew up to be a beautician. Xavier quite likes her.... She likes him too.
I modeled her after an old image I found of a young Caddoan woman I found on Wikipedia.
