Den Haag / The Hague, defacto capital of the Netherlands.

Street was created in around 1450 Lange Voorhout, or The long street at the front of the forest (hout = wood) A lovely part of with old trees and buildings

A beautiful view on this fantastic part of The Hague, and no auto's anymore gives it an extra dimension!! Het Lange Voorhout brings always a smile on my face ...... we live in Voorhout!! (but born in The Hague) well done, standing on the street instead of on the "schelpenpad" is a good idea!!
