My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

FAB! Phormiums are great subjects but you have made a magnificent composition: I love the light shapes and then all those powerful diagonals.

Nature makes the best abstracts but it takes a great eye to see them. Fantastic image.

I do like this very much...I keep hoping that I'll begin seeing these things for myself one day. Great eye and fine work with selective color adjustments.

Isn't it amazing when they do this? I'm always fascinated by the shapes that nature can take. And the colours look perfectly natural to me... a truly excellent shot for a soon-to-be backup camera ;}

What a beautiful shot, Tara! You have such an eye for details, my friend - this is just delightful! Wonderful colors, wonderful patterns, and the water droplets are the icing on the cake!

This rocks. I mean, it's like a bug's eye view of a jungle...well...a bug's eye view of a lawn! I like that! This is a super shot on so many levels and I can; I especially love the droplets.
