Very lovely scene, the ships look great and the atmoshpere so nice (a bit alarming that dusty planetoid/moon so close to the "earth"!) I think I recognise the cloudy earth scene taken from NASA spaceshuttle by one of the astronauts? - its an achingly beautiful view used to great effect here.

Old doesn't mean bad. Really LOVE the volumetric lighting in this one with the haze all around and the halos around the lights. There's a definite sense of grandeur about this render, too. Good work!
