Description

After not having uploaded anything in a long time, I've taken an interest in fractals, or I should say, the Incendia software has gotten me interested in 3d fractals. So, after working with the program for a couple of weeks, I finally did something I thought I could post. Incendia is a great program, and if you're into 3D fractals it will generate very unique images. Anyway, let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

Cool Incendia work. I used Incendia a few years ago in it's infancy, the last 2 years I've been hooked on the Mandelbulb3d Fractal app and just recently the J-Wildfire 3D Flame explorer although I know that's just a passing fancy and will soon return to MB3D. Watch out, Fractals have a way of sucking you in, they are addictive. Peace

Thanks Lenord, I tried a couple of other regular fractal programs, not Mandelbulb3d, and they didn't speak to me. With Incendia, it felt very intuitive and I just started to create work as opposed to figuring out the program. I've seen work created on Mandelbulb3D and it looks great so once I get better at all this, I will probably check it out. Thanks for posting, appreciated.

Wow what a awesome outcome. Looks like a heap of metal pieces. Excellent mix of colors and gorgeous lighting. Great job.

Thanks Glendaw, appreciate your comments. It's just a series of happy accidents, like Bob Ross' happy little clouds.. :) I just keep tweaking till I get something that says, "don't go any further, it's not going to look any better".. :)

Excellent Incendia! Gorgeous lighting. Oh, you're a Bob Ross fan, too? Cool! :-D It's nice that you respond on this page. But not a lot of people check back. And we don't get updates from it, either. So I suggest that, if you want to thank people, you use the site mail. :-) Corrie

Great image! I'm a newbie to Incendia too, it's a great program, isn't it? The only thing that frustrates me a bit are the long render times, compared to other apps like Mandelbulb3D and Apophysis 7X which I'm working with as well. I agree to Len, fractals are addictive indeed!

Hi Badsue, thanks for your comments. I usually render overnight and at some point I just stop it. I accept whatever level of rendering there is, since there's no stop mechanism.

thanks Peedy for your comments. Yes, in the past, I would do landscape in 3D landscape programs, but would study people like Bob Ross. I'll keep your advice in mind for the site mail, when I can find it, since I haven't been on renderosity for a long time and definitely there are changes I'm not aware of.
