Description

Couldn't help humming that War song while checking out these amazing cars and the San Diego Auto Show. Can you imagine the amount of time, effort and - yes - money that has gone into each of these beauties? The auto show is always fun; I enjoy looking at the new models being introduced by dozens of manufacturers, but I have to say that these labors of love built by a small group of individuals were the highlight of the show this year. Incidentally, that apparatus in the trunk on the upper left is a hydraulic lift system that can raise or lower the car or even make it jump - get front wheel off the ground. Enjoy.

Beautiful shiny toys for the boys! - I can appreciate the hard work and many long hours going into these restoring jobs ... looking hot! We have our Winter-sun Festival (every June! in our upside-down world) where everybody exhibits their antique and priced possessions for a week, on our Gold Coast - it's a sight to behold and my all time favourite would have to be the Mustang ;) BB
