Description

Jack became very sad as he sat with his two companions, Ben and Lindy his dogs. He remembered his home as it used to be before it had been practically raised to the ground to make room for yet another supermarket. Jack's mother called them, Lindy looked up, Ben tried to comfort Jack by placing his favourite ball at his feet, and eventually Jack moved and couldn't help but smile at his wonderful furry companions. The dogs could not understand why Jack should be miserable when he had a new home and them in his life ... Hi Guys! These are but 2 of the painted dogs that are now in my YURdigital store. There are 12 dogs of various different types ranging from small companion dogs to big strong dogs. All in all they took 10 weeks to paint so that isn't too long I guess lol. I hope that you are doing well this year so far, let's hope that 2013 is better than 2012 for us all. I have not been too well but keep ploughing onward :D, my chronic illness hates cold weather and at the moment the UK is in the grips of snow and ice. Many thanks for visiting my gallery, I shall be coming to each and every one of your galleries over the coming days, so can't wait for that. Wishing you all the very best, take care, hugs Jane xx credits - Dogs - JaneEden'sDogs at YURdigital. background - JaneEden'sDilapidation backgrounds at YURdigital

Your dogs look awesome. Great scene, too. The story reminded me of going back to my old neighborhood where I lived when I was 8 and seeing that my house, and the elementary school across the street, had been replaced by a parking lot for the airport. And what was really strange is the next block over was untouched, filled with homes and looked the same as all those years ago. CC

Oh no =( so sorry to hear your conditions are playing you up with that icy UK weather, sending you warm wishes and heat waves from the Deep South, my friend {{hugs}} These doggies look simply amazing, Jane! The story is touching, love the way you've composed this scene with the demolished home and streaming sunlight. Beautifully crafted, an instant fave!

I love your animals! This is one great scene. The background is genius! I wish I could send you some Arizona sunshine. Folks come from all over the frozen wastelands to enjoy our winters.

Great work. You want to be careful that the light flare matches the character lighting unless it was intentional as an effect. I love the dog's expression. The most real I have seen here. :-)

Sis, this is a fabulous looking image and a heartwarming story to go with it. So many times in life we have to deal with situations that make us sad or uncomfortable. That is why it is even more important to have people and our precious animals around us during those times. You did a marvelous job of illustrating that point through this lovely image and your moving words. You're carefully handpainted dogs are tremendous and fits so well in almost any 3-D scene. What makes them extra special is the love and care that went into crafting them :)

The background with this destroyed house is wonderful and the pose of Jack is well done. I suppose he's in a sad mood because his old house was better than the one. But I think his two beautiful dogs will be able to comfort him. I hope your health issues are not too big and you'll be fine very soon. :)
