Description

Geirla--along with waldodessa and grafikeer--has been one of my cyber artist friends even before I knew about Renderosity. Geir has always been faithful about viewing and commenting on my posted works; and I highly value his opinions pro or con. So, this one's for you, my friend. It's a long time coming, since I first planned to to so, but I wanted it to be a particularly good artistic offering, since your own are always first rate. Took me a while to come somewhat near your own high standards. Heh! Hope you like it. If this one has a flaw,it is that the gas giant planet seems a bit too crisp. There was also supposed to be four different alien plants, but one species decided to take over the entire picture. Still haven't figured out why that happened. Ah well. I guess there always has to be something about my renders that bugs me. If you look closely with ZOOM and a magnifying glass, you can see a pilot and co-pilot in the spaceship. Don't get eye-strain looking for them, though. And thanks to all the rest of you for your visits, comments, encouragements. All are appreciated. Jeremy CREDITS: herminio's "Weird House," "Naboo complex," n "Nieves recon starship hybrid" (ShareCG) . Planet texture is Matt Davis "Marduk." Figures: Ed Baumgarten's lo-res CASMAN n CASWOM. Eco-system created from Vue6 Sci-fi Plant folder.

Thank you Jeremy! This one looks very nice zoomed in, because then you see the detail, not just the spaceship crew, but the vegetation and the planet's bands.

Great image to dedicate to Geirla...the gas giant reminds me of some of his images with the same in the background...nicely done Jeremy. As a sidenote,I found adding fuzzy edges and a fuzziness factor in the translucency tab helps to softenthe edges of a distant planet.
