Description
Millbury,Massachusetts is currently celebrating its 200th anniversary. The town has all the fixings of New England with a few little extras. One of which is this strange structure that has defied identification for years.As kids we played there and called it the old Fort. Rumors tell of tunnels beneath it fanning out throughout the area. Some have been found and quickly sealed. Legends tell of a tunnel connecting it to an old mansion nearby. Lovecraft is said to have included it in one of his tales. but I haven't found it. At any rate hopefully you enjoy a bit of my town, in its "darker" side._ About now there will be eerie music and a deep sinister laugh!

This is an amazing structure. I've seen some documentaries on it and it is an enigma to say the least. Thanks for sharing this outstanding shot!

Cool James...I always enjoy hearing ole' stories of eerie places...Hearing them mind you not visiting them.....lol..What is that funky sound I keep hearing??....rofl!
