Hi. My real name is Laura and I was born on July 11th.  My husbands birthday is also on July 11th, but 4 years apart. We have been married 30 years, we have two children a daughter Alecia 27, a son Cody 21, and a grand-daughter Miss Sophie 7 years old and a grand daughter due last of September. She is now 3 years old. My kids and grand-daughters are my life. :)  I love all of the beauty of nature. My dream place is the beach. :)))))))  After my son graduates I want to move to a nice beach. :))))   I love feeling sand between my toes, the breeze blowing through my hair, and the sunshine kissing my skin. :)))) Food also taste better at the beach. LOL!!! I am a type of person that loves with my whole heart :)))))  I was taught to have good manners and to help others. :))))  I smile alot bc I enjoy life whole heartedly. :))))) I also love lots of music. :))) Music is good for my soul. :))))  I Love to put smiles in people's hearts as well as on their faces. :) I Love the beauty you can capture with one press of a button, and I Love when a picture gets to one's heart. Hope you will find a picture that gets to your heart. :)     I wish everyone a smile that you can carry in your heart   :)) This image is of my son and myself at a marina in Edisto SC. :)))))) Thank you Dave and Pat for asking us to go on this most beautiful and fun vacation with you all. :)))))))  Love you both. :)))))) Summer Fun in the sand is the best. :))))))))Â

I have no experience with snow. So what happens to the flowers and stuff that are trapped under it though winter? Are they all kaput! Oh and thanks Laura for the songs. I've just been listening to them in the car. Cheers champ. Andrew

How right you are when you say that the pansy will show its beauty no matter what. To answer blinkings....what happens to the flowers depends upon the type they are. If the are in the annual category they are kaput (although even then some varieties reseed themselves). If they are perennial they come back year after year like daffodils and tulips. Pansies like this one are in the biannual group. They often survive the winter to bloom again the following year, but they can be killed by a particularly cold winter. This happy little pansy looks like it is just playing peek-a-boo. Thanks for sharing. :)
