Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

What a beautiful day to take pictures and climb too. Hope she brought a sandwich:) Curious how long it took for each girl to complete this short (but not easy) climb.

Great shot! Beautiful sky/rock contrast. Including the climbers adds a nice human touch. Well done.

Not for me for sure!

Judging by that tree on the left, it looks like the ground is fairly close below, so this looks like a perfect beginners climb. Nice shot, like the contrasting colors of the rocks...
