Description
I modeled this scene in Sketchup, and used the texture projection technique to map the geometry. Sketchup's nature is to make extremely low-poly models, so you have to be careful with curves (they don't natively have many faces).
All in all, I was pleased with the results. Sketchup is very easy to use, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. It is certainly good for architectural elements that are mostly rectangular, and curves can be handled well if they have enough segments to smooth (there is an internal feature for smoothing).
The figures are Predatron's 14MU Worker, also low resolution by design. I kept them mostly in the shadows for that reason.
Anyhow, glad to post something new. Cheers!

well, let's say: not that bad at all. compliments, good attention to details.

Very nice. I appreciate the work-arounds that you use to put together a complicated scene and keep the resources overhead down. The texturing is very nicely done.
