My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

An evergreen of sorts, huh? At least 3-3 1/2 months before we see those beautiful flowers blossom once again. Nicely done:)

Beautiful capture, and I love the light coating of frost on the skirts! The dancer is just a bit chilly, that's all; she'll spread her skirts when she warms up again!

The leaves look very attractive with their dusting of frost even though they don't like the cold. How beautiful this one looks in full bloom. I hope the frost doesn't damage the bud at all though they are pretty hardy aren't they.

I can see it now, music up, the leaves rise and off to the dance they go.

Hopefully they won't have to wait much longer - just a couple of months... A beautiful shot of these rhododendrons, Tara!
