When we were in Las Vegas 2011, we wanted to vistit the Hoovedam too, but that day it was so hot and we prefered to stay in the Hotel with some good Renderosity friends (Bill & Cheryl and Allen Mixton), our luxemburgish friends Doro & Alex and our daughter Séverine for some good fresh beers!

That's rugged all right. Great shot that really captures the rock. I saw Hoover Dam and Las Vegas for the first time in the early sixties when dad was stationed at Nellis AFB. I still am awed when I go there.
