Description

took this shot yesterday on an outing with my best friend, Louise. We've had alot of snow here and it's been absolutely freezing out. The snow was up to our knees in places and we both managed 2, nearly 3 hours in the snow before we had to turn back for home. It was just far too cold. Unfortunately there was hardly any natural sunlight yesterday so I had to make the best of a bad situation & capture what I could. *sigh*. The historical building in the backdrop is Gisborough Priory, in my hometown of Guisborough. (yes the spellings are meant to be different as the spelling changed over the 100s of years). Taken with a Nikon D5000 with an 18-35mm Lens. Colour balancing, sharpening and slight crop in PhotoshopCS5.1

... and it doesn't look like you could shelter from the cold in the priory... Fantastic place and quirky interpretation :)
