Description

All shots best viewed zoomed. The 1957 Chevrolet is a car which was introduced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in September, 1956. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range "two-ten", and the "one-fifty". A two-door station wagon, the Nomad was produced as a Bel Air model. An upscale trim option called the "Delray" was available for two-ten 2-door sedans. It is a popular and sought after classic car. These vehicles are often restored to their original condition and sometimes modified. The car's image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies and television. The '57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon. imagebam.com imagebam.com

A lot of time and love went in to this car. The color of the car just grabs you. I want one!

It's same colour as my modern car. But that's where the similarity ends!

Graduating from high school in 1958, this was the queen of the road in my youth. Your photography brings this iconic update to life. The engine compartment is quite something...would love to see this car in person.

Another one on my 'Want' list but sadly the prices of these are sky high today. I'm guessing you'd rather have this :)

Superb shot. I have a soft spot for the '57 Chevs. It was my Dad's first-ever brand new car and he took such pride in it. This one is beautifully done and your shots are great.

Awesome ride, one of the most popular cars of all time, and they do sell for big money when you find a good one like this! Outstanding photo's!

There's a reason why 55-57 Chevies are still so sought after: they are timelessly gorgeous, sensibly sized, could be had in practically any flavor you wanted, and when new, a great value for the money. When I was a kid in the 70s, my friend's dad kept a mint white over gold 57 BelAir 4 door hardtop in the garage and would occasionally take it out for a cruise on nice summer days. MAN, I LOVED that car! One time, said friend swiped the keys and we sat inside it pretending to be cool 50s types driving to California or some such thing. Bliss! Great shot, and thanks for the memory.
