Description

Thanks to Auckland Anniversary day being both a holiday and a scorcher.. this limited time in the garden to short bursts between drinks! #30 is another significant milestone in this series, so it was only appropriate that I did something special. A further tribute to Gerry Anderson, who gave us sooooo many wonderful kids programmes! and all made possible by the skill and generosity of Neil, who made and provided the SPV you see here, via Mike. To those that can remember, this is the Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle (SPV)from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons Series.. another fav TV programme from my childhood... and coz I wanted it as part of the CnG series, Symphony Angel has to take it for a test drive :o)

Never could understand the mentality of the Mysterons on that one. There's this guy. He's INDESTRUCTIBLE... Yet they keep trying to kill him every week!! You'd think they'd have figured it out... (The clue's in the theme song...)

Truly awesome render Martin, you've made a great image here. It's a damn good model isn't it and thanks to Neil for building it. Symphony Angel looks very HOT! and she was always my favourite :) A few more of these on the cards maybe ?
