Description

Another shot in Bryce Canyon, Utah. I have an idea that this formation is known as the Palace!

how beautiful, I am going on a road trip with my three children this summer, we are flying to Denver to my daughters house then driving to San Diego CA and then heading north and then back to Denver, I want to make this one of our stops even though my son says were not stopping. LOL is he in for a surprise.

terrific shot Jeff, a great composition, and, yes, you were right, the road to Wambrook, the source of a lot of my pictures

Oh, this is very revealing. To me this illustrates how hoodoos are formed. They erode undergro.und while still attached above...then gradually the top connecting layer erodes away. I love all the geology involved here

Could very well be, as it certainly looks like a palace. A perfect place for birds to live :)
