Description
This is me in 1966 during the West Pac Cruise. Notice the lovely accommodations and spacious cabin. The racks, beds, were three high and made out of stretched canvas on an aluminum frame. The lockers were small and three high. I marked it as nudity just in case...

lol - you made me look up my pics from my time in WestPac. But I was on a sub in '68 so, yes, those quarters look palacial!! Now if my waist only looked the same 45 years later. Remember basic: Sailors should be obscene, not heard!!
