Wow it has been almost six years since I updated this. I am 40 years old and happily married for 12 wonderful years now. I have three children Britt 19, Conner 9, and Crosby 4. I have been doing CG art since October 2006. I have developed from a newb to the Poser World over the last 6 years into a professional. I still learn new things everyday, but it is fun to look back and see my progression over the last 6 years. I have to say there is something very satisfying about getting paid to do something you love.

I feel that the lighting in this piece is really excellent, giving the model a sense of dimensionality. The way that clothing hugs in Poser definitely seems to be a lot more realistic than it used to be but because I do not understand the mechanism I cannot really comment on it; whether it is something you have to rig manually or if it is a 'plug-in'. I really like the realism of the skin texture as it appears on the thighs and the expression of the eyes is very animated and 'alive'. In my opinion, Poser all too often looks like cleverly propped-up dead people and this image does not suffer from that. Indeed, the vibrancy in the eyes is one of my favourite aspects. It is the hair lying on the back which does not feel particularly life-like to me. It seems in part to be defying gravity. However, this is my only negative criticism in a piece that, aside from that floor, it very well executed with originality and playfulness.

Thank you very much and I hate poser hair it never looks right when it rests on something like the back there. Defying gravity was perfect.
