Description
Clearly, Sancha was immensely upset with everyone else in the car, including Altayr - even by the time they got to their destination. Xavier pulled her aside and soothed her nerves, apologizing profusely for this unavoidable circumstance. "That Frank, he is loco!!" she vented.
"He got you all here safe and sound, did he not?" Xavier asked with one raised brow.
"Si, but he is still a loco."
"Find it in that lovely heart of yours to forgive him and just get to know him. He's a good one to have on your side...as is Clay." He paused here and smiled, patting her hand. "Things will be better, now that you're here. I'm sure you're tired, but I was wondering if you might want to rest awhile, and...I've really been wanting to see you dance again. Your gypsy dance that you did that night we met in Paris. Would you be so sweet as to honor me so? I promise afterward, we'll sit down to a very nice welcome dinner for you and Altayr, and you can meet everyone you'll be associating with."
"Jou have sangria, eh?" Now she had a bit of a glint in her eye.
"Si, senorita. We have some very fine sangria. Then let me show you and Altayr to your rooms for the present. We'll get you in your own place here very soon!"

Meanwhile, the boys in the lab are running through their databases searching for this man who rented the SUV. Yes, Clay got the plate number while they were still close enough to do so. Of course, the guy used an alias, but there was a copy of his drivers license with his picture in the rental record. They'd find him - one way or another.
