Description
Two days spent in Paro
Just to catch our breath
Then the road to Thimpu
Which scared us half to death
Two days more and then we're gone
On the road again
Through the Tongla Pass
And on to Bumthang, journey's end
When we last left our intrepid travelers back in December, 2011, they were riding the roads in Bhutan, on their way to an annual religious festival in Jakar.

Seeing the landscape of Bhutan it seems as though I had come back from a trip to Middle Earth.

This is a beautiful view; lush green hillsides, with gentle folds, a scattering of attractive buildings, and a lovely mixture of forests and farmland. What a gorgeous place to live. Excellent capture!
