Description

Another shot in Bryce Canyon using the tree I featured a few postings ago. You can see that erosion is taking place all the time and that this tree will soon be dead or not there at all.

Beautiful shot and explanation of the erosion. Nature is still a mistery and leave us sometimes without any plausable explanations. This tree as you said will most likely not stay there for much longer...

So amazing beautiful, Jeff! The tree roots seems to go hiking out of your photo. And I just love that deep canyon with all the textures and colors.

Superb capture, clarity and lighting. It really depends on how deep it's tap root goes.

I think I remember this tree too. It looked like it was barely holding on then! Great shot Jeff!

It's amazing the way life hangs on. It would be interesting to see a time lapse video of the tree from its beginnings until now. It's very beautiful with its roots snaking out and grabbing hold. Excellent capture! Beautiful detail, color, and light.
