My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

If you hadn't said these were plane parts, I would have thought it was a space scene--wonderful shot, you always find these little pieces and parts of things that make such interesting fotos!!

Outstanding capture! Your expertise at taking a part of a whole is amazing!!

Marvellous compo. I think I prefer to know so I can forget about it immediately.

This has a sci-fi feel to it. I think it's because it makes me think of a starship hull. Cool!

A beautiful abstract Tara and I also like the 'whole' aircraft.

It is a great abstract and the color and shine on the piece on the right is terrific. But the Hellcat is a special aircraft. It gave the U.S. air superiority and went a long way towards winning the war in the Pacific. In should be noted that the word hellcat was used in the 1957 movie "Hellcats of the Navy" starring a fellow named Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy Davis. You remember Ronnie, don't you Tara? Our first acting president.

Fantastic abstraction of the whole here; your compo is subtle and lovely. The wings fold up, eh? How cool is that?

Sharp! Clear! And I can see the product 'stitched' together by a Rosy the Riveter. A beauty...

Are those holes mechanical access points?

Superb capture Tara. God Bless.

Beautiful hellholes :-D

Clever cropping, bravo :)

cool. at lest it not bullet holes.
neiwil
Only you could make a bunch of holes so interesting...a shot of the whole plane would probably leave these unnoticed. It is wonderful to have a restoration on the 'doorstep' and be able to follow along.Closest I got was when we demolished and rebuilt the Bowling Alley.I took photos almost every day for 18 months, from old Bowling Alley, to vacant lot, to shiny new Bowling Alley. It takes a lot longer to restore a plane though....thanks for another 'different' view, and a most informative link. 10/10

This is beautiful! When I first saw it, I thought . . . space. When I looked at it on zoom, I thought . . . space station. (I've been watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine lately). Beautiful colors, rich and luminous.

Well I'll have to say when I saw the title I thought it was going to be a picture of where I work.... LOL! That's a really cool abstract, Tara! Love your close-up details!
debbielove
Yeah, I thought it was US Naval, in use... lol Only you used that High blue gloss paint, while we used a more Matt colour... There is a Hellcat at Duxford and I'm hoping it will be airworthy this year.. Good one Tara. Rob
