Description

If you're familar with Meatloaf's song of the same name- a song celebrating the sexual adventures of a teen-age couple this shot will ring a bell with you. There's a line that goes something like "I can see paradise by the dashboard lights". This is exactly what I picture when I hear that line. A wide front bench seat in a classic car - in this case a beautifully restored '63 or '64 ( I forget which) Chevy convertible. Enjoy

I think it is a 64. very sharp capture and looks like the owner has some nitrous on the transmission hump. 50's and 60's Chevrolets far out number cars of other years for my favorites.I had a 65 Impala and my first new car was a 69 Chevy

'61s and '62s had that curvy wind wing...'63s and later were more angular:) I'm not all that smart...just finished peeking at google images year by year. Oh, and the photo...superb. Brings back good times and a flood of memories for me too.

Not to be an annoying know-it-all, but I think it's actually a 61. the give aways are the shape of the vent windows, steering wheel, dashboard, character lines on the hood and apparent curliness of the side sheet metal. Whatever the case, it's absolutely gorgeous, and a great shot. Always great to see one of these!

Hard to tell from this image if it is a 63 or 64. Excellent shot.
