Description

Hi All I at last have some time to my self for the first time this week. So here I am spending my time at my favourite online destination. I will visit your galleries tonight to see what you all have posted. This particular shot is quite special for me. The colours of the boat with the contrasting blue sky was so beautiful, I even painted this photo. I will post the painting tomorrow to let you all comment on my painting (I am a novice!). I need to catch up with your gallery and I'm glad to see this. When I saw the thumbnail of this image, I was struck at how the colors in the boat seemed to recall the colors of the German flag. I found that amusing. Full view is so much richer than just flag, however: I love the wood textures and the colors are quite amazing. Really wonderful work.
