My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I am on your side Tara - I hate shopping too but then I'm a man!! Nice shot.

Your aversion seems to be shared by others. This is an attractive space but seems pretty deserted.

I'm not keen on malls or shopping arcades, or whatever. Not that I dislike shopping, more I disklike the effect those places seem to have on people... it's like there is somekind of zombie radiation...

Excellent street scene Hugs Susan

I'm no shopper anymore either; got it all out of my system in my younger days! This is a lovely shot, though. Shopping centers are best viewed from a distance!

Malls are so odd! I admit to liking them, slightly, when I was a teenager and malls actually had multiple bookstores and record stores that you could stroll to. Ah, generally while eating ice cream or popcorn...but now, malls are just...well...um...bookless and music-less, but they do provide wonderful opportunities for people-watching. I love the visual excitement in this shot. There are so many surfaces, so many colors. I like this!

Nothing there for us anymore. Chip makes a good point...no more books, no more music...I could spend hours in any of the old book chains...few left these days. Wait, there is an Anthony's Seafood Grill hiding in there! Oh, yes, the photo. Nice and sharp...even in the shade. I'll bet you didn't try spot metering in there though...next time:)

It definitely looks relaxed, Tara! I certainly wouldn't mind taking a stroll there myself...
