Description

Taken just 30 mins after yesterdays posting, in this time the sun came out making a magical time even more so. Blackdown wanderings again. You might have noticed that a lot of my photography happens in these parts, its close to home and i particularly love the free standing trees we have up here, a good place to keep an eye on the passing seasons. Many thanks for all your wonderful and encouraging comments over the years. Please zoom for full efect.

Excellent shot! The flattened gate is almost hidden under the frozen blanket. The Ivy on the tree trunk stands out as untouchable! No wonder the pagans worshipped it!
