UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

So beautiful with the blue mist...looks like there an awful lot of nests on the rock, too. What an idyllic scene!

Like that blue mist & the contrast in scale between humans & the massive rocks. I've only been to Canon Beach once & enjoyed it very much - both the surrounding coastline & the many art galleries in town...

My girls would love this beach, amazing how far the people are to the rock!!

Cool Bill. Did you and Tara climb to the top?!

What a lovely place to have a dog walk :)

Strange and fascinating, like a view from some strange film. The fog gives a surreal atmosphere to this. Almost as if it were made in a sophisticated computer. I can just imagine the space ship emerging from its hovering behind the rock and hear the water against the beach. Fine job, Bill. Keep it up! :-)

Great to see you looking after one of my favorite places Bill! Lovely shot and just the right amount of mist in the air!

Stunning effect of the sharp miniscule humans and dogs contrasted against that magnificent haze, Bill. The haystack is awesome.

That's a fantastic formation, Bill – and this is an excellent shot!

A beautiful capture of one of my favorite places. The dogs and their people make a nice counterpoint to the huge rocks. SUCH a wonderful place!

What a presence! I gotta get out that way and see that place! The Midwest is way too flat around here! I love the sense of scale and the wonderful mood. This is brilliant. I wonder what it's like to be up on one of those rocks! What treasures might lurk up there...undiscovered crustaceans, I suspect! I love the faint whisper of haze in the distance, and now I have an image of Andrea and The Gang there!
