Description

The de Haviland DH.98 Mosquito was a British two-man multipurpose aircraft used throughout World War II. It was one of the few front line aircraft to be constructed almost entirely of wood. This high speed aircraft was used as a low to medium altitude tactical bomber, day or night fighter, pathfinder, photo reconnaissance, and maritime strike aircraft. Although used predominately in the European theater it also saw service with the British RAF and the Royal Australian Air Force in the Pacific. Awesome... though it needs the reflection of the post-work explosion blended into the water?
