well I said I'm only doing 4 or 5 images per gallery in this visit to RR, but I'm now up to 9 in your gallery! A compliment to you! I guess I never did a pure "photography" visit with you before...This strikes me as a very difficult thing to photograph; and you conquered the problem by making the mountains the "bed" in which the city and background seem to 'rest'. You've given us just enough detail in the "V" of the mountains---just enough light on the trees, etc---that it lights-up as we look out...And then, the city/town in the background is placed right in that "V" in the mountains, in your shot. Very nicely captured. Whaleman said how hard it is to get enough exposure in a shot like this...he's right. Of course if one has a really expensive camera and lenses, they can get the light---but those kinds of cameras cost more than a large automobile (!), so for most of us, we do the best we can with low exposure in dark areas. Very dramatic pov.
