UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Hummmm...... Photography and airplanes...... Now, who could it possibly be??? I'm pretty sure his name sounds a lot like mine! ;-D Cool shot, Bill!
AZBO
Excellent zoom-Makes hiding impossible
blinkings
LOL who knows who he is. But he is a nasty looking, evil character that's for sure. Possibly a spy there to sabotage the aircraft. He's a loathsome, offensive brute, yet I can't look away. ;)
jayfar
By the comment above it must be that blinking chap called Andrew!! Nice shot and he is really giving you the eye Bill.
durleybeachbum
I see him! Rob?
Maxidyne

jendellas
I do know who it is even though I don't no him if you know what I mean :o) xx
auntietk
I know exactly who that is, and I can assure you he's up to no good. Neil needs to tighten security at The Plant and keep nefarious individuals such as this off the production floor! No telling what he's up to. Horrors!!
rockstrider
Wonderful light coming through the hanger windows Bill!

Cool shot Bill. Have no idea who he is, but I know it is not Kramer. Whats that aircraft next to the F-4 partially hidden behind the vertical stabilizer?

Excellent image Hugs Susan~

Standing tall behind the fuselage he looks like a Large character, possibly there to Rob the latest designs.....I'm surprised nobody told him "they're available free in the Gift Shop"....Wait till I get my hands on Chuck, he never told me The Grand Tour took in the NeiWil American Subsidiary.. :-) way cool Bill...what a 'catch'...maybe Tara's right and I should tighten up security, maybe lock the doors when we leave.....or is that a bit much?
goodoleboy
LOL, blinkings has a painted image of Kramer from the Seinfeld television sitcom. Anyway, a really neat shot but a spooky ambience inside the hangar, Bill, the kind of environment where sabotage occurs. And the mystery photographer may be debbielove.
bmac62
Yes, indeed...the mystery face belongs to the body of Rob (debbielove). Several of you named him directly and it is obvious that several more of you got it too. Way to go all! This image was in a June 2009 folder of mine...I had just never noticed Rob in there before:)
debbielove
Ha! You got me and I tried so hard to hide! lol This was a great hands on place, I enjoyed it there mate, some really interesting finds.. Good memories! Rob

I spotted him right away, but I have to say that I spent time letting my eye wander around the scene...just taking everything in. For some reason, Battlestar Galactica popped into my head and I was also expecting to see Tyrol (the Deck Chief) and the other guys and gals in their overalls, working on the birds to get them back up in the air and into the fight! But that's just me. This is a gorgeous shot. I love the reflections and the lone human, lurking...

where miracles are made... great light and POV, Bill!
