after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
Â
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Action packed piece, Steve! Well done!

Throw in some zombies and a shot of evil people and we have ourselves a story.

This is wicked cool bud... great lighting for this scene. Hey, I didn't really leave, but did find that a breather was in order and did help clear my head. I've been waiting for a doc's report and got it this morning. I have to go and get some arteries cleaned out, one is 70 percent clogged and the other 90 percent. This is the cause of the "mini strokes" I've been suffering with. Hopefully this will fix some problems. I deal with bi-polar disorder and I have been "classified" as having anti-social personality disorder on top of PTSD... so I can understand depression fairly well... take a breath brother and just know you are loved here my friend.

Terrific scene Steve..great posing!!
Faemike55
Steve, you saw me do this several times in the last couple years. It's kinda nice to turn the computer on and not see dozens of ebots notifying you of who posted what (no offence you great artists). so take the break and relax, play with other programs and learn new stuff. if an image strikes your fancy (whereever that may be) then comment on it. What ever you do Steve, do it with gusto and joy! in the meantime, great work on this scene. as Angel put it, we'll leave a candle in the window

Fantastic shot! Very dynamic! To much of anything isn't good for you. If you think a break would do you good. Then you probably need one. All the best hope your feeling better soon. PS I think a lot of people seem to be suffering from winter blues. Hopefully when spring starts to break you all will start feeling a lot better!

Fabulous action scene Steve, the drama just oozes from the monitor! Terrific posing and lighting. You gotta do what you gotta do my friend, and as that commercial goes, we'll leave the light on for ya ... Gonna miss ya and your gorgeous renders .. but sometimes a breather is just what the Doc ordered. As someone else said, do it with gusto. Get out there and smell the snow, giggles, maybe even play in it!

Wonderful work, love the action in this one. While I would hate to see you go, I understand needing a break. ( looks at MY last upload date ;/) So if you must take a break, we will miss you, but hope you return soon, refreshed and with your creative muse at full steam ahead. hugs and prayers.

I'm there myself. Taking a loooong break from posting, Poser, and whatnot...too much to deal with, but still managing to play around a bit on the side. Great render, BTW.

Steve i can relate although mine was for my health, still we all need a break, i agree with Mike, so many e-bots to comment on and so little time to concentrate on our art! and then some get their panties in a wad for not commenting! you should still consider trying to sell your art though, excellent work you do!:)*5
