My Name is René, born 03-April-1955
i come from the Grand -Duchy of Luxembourg, and my wife UteBigSmile and me have been living in spain the last 17 years, where we discovered renderosity and the 3d world.
Due to health reasons i lost my job and i got retired early, and last year (2013)we moved back to our Home Country!
............................................
My hobbys are PC,Internet,Pc-Configurations,
reading fantasy,as well as from april of 2008 doing 3drenders. ............................................... As my father bought me only the cheapest of accessories for painting in school(he was maybe not able to afford more expensif stuff.),the other kids were laughing at me,and so i decided that: i will never do art in my life, imagine i was 8 years old. so i managed to build up a "blockade",concerning art until april of 2008. then my wife utebigsmile was behind me and she pushed me to do something instead of playing only my ego shooters and working with photographs, where i was unable to get inspired. I had a copy of poser but i did not came along with the program, then i went to a 3d forum, because i told myself ,there must be more people like me outside in the cyberspace(LOL). Finally i got an offer,Bryce 5.5 for free and Daz-Studio,i tried a week around and little by little i was able to understand the basics. so i upgraded my bryce to version 6 and i got a platinum membership on daz, a lot of freebies and cheap articles,i bought like wild, Now i do have a content of +-500gigs and i carry on . what gave me the most is this feedback from the people here, and also everything well educated, the whole way of getting along with each other, the respect etc... gives me soo much. Update:UteBigSmile is getting better and better,in health and in spirit-lol. She does wonderful graphs as well-but now she is also addicted on DazStudio.3d. And this is it for now, "God" bless you all here the link to my page: renecyberdoc4.uterene.org/

Nice!

Because I can not agree more, we would not have found the DAZ Studio and Renderosity, I would certainly have ended up in a mental institution!

Welch wahre Worte, lieber Rene.

I Like this piece a lot not your usual style not that I don't enjoy the visits to those strange places with the strange people and even stranger names

Well, I'm enjoying my seat at your "table"... LOL! Pass the teapot. (There was a time I would have said "Pass the beer"... how things change! LOL!)
Radar_rad-dude
An interesting variation from your regular themes, Rene! Quite a nice scene! Great action and scene elements! Very nicely imagined and realized! It is nice to be seated at your creative table, Rene! Thanks for putting up with me!

instant classic image my friend.

Fantastic scene! I have to agree with Ute. This place has probably saved my sanity (what little I have). Being able to share my pictures and view the incredible art of others and touch the lives of some truly amazing people, has been a ray of sunshine in a year of cloudy skies. I so very glad you invited me to the table. Pass the Darjeeling, please.

well said Rene... and I do hope you will forgive my absence for the time I was "away". Sometimes, for me, the feeling of being a part of something is a bit overwhelming and I flee... it's been so for my entire life. This image is one of your finest, IMHO..

i've been away from your table for some time, but i try to get stronger and rejoin now! this is definitely a fave in my books Doc! by the way, you were right about my "Nowhere Man" being from the Beatles 'Rubber Soul' album, but it was John Lennon singing the lead!:)*5

brewgirlca
I could not quite believe this style was done by the Doc but your words of passion leave no doubt as to the author.

Amazing scene and great realisation/composition ...Wonderfully done !!!

A change of pace from your usual Doc images and a nice one at that. Reminds me of the "Narnia" epics or whatever they are (memory's not what it once was, lol). I turned to 3D as a cathartic release for a troubing life that unfortunately has kind of stuck in one place here the last few years. Seems no matter what I try it's doomed for failure and it's not only getting old, it's making me old as well. This is some of my happiest time when I'm here, enjoying the creativity of my friends. One day I'll be back to posting new creations and that'll help... as it always does. Thanks to you and Ute for a seat at your table, my best to you both.
