Description
This image is an experiment and not a search of beauty or artistic value.
I want to share with you my experiment on exporting a 3D mesh from Mandelbulb 3D. I start with one of my recent image "JB-Reworked 9h" and export a 500 pixels VoxelStack, convert it as wavefront in Fiji. Because, probably, of the nature of this particular fractal the mesh is huge 300Mb, but again because of the nature of of this fractal I see not stair step artefact.
It took an hour and 10Gb of ram to open it in Carrara 3D, this is probably the most complex file I never tried to import in Carrara.
To see the complexity of the file, check the full size image.

Bib at FractalForums and DA has done some amazing things with converting MB3D Voxel Stacks to 3D meshes and creating Solid Objects

Most fascinating! I haven't tried playing with the Voxelstack feature yet, but this makes me want to jump right into it... This is really very cool!
