Description
The Thunderbird ("T-Bird"), is an automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company in the United States over eleven model generations from 1955 through 2005. When introduced, it created the market niche eventually known as the personal luxury car. Let's just hope daddy doesn't take it away! Please zoom if you would like to see more detail.

My uncle had a black '57 he let me drive and I found out much later he wanted to GIVE it to me and my mom said no (she thought it was too much car for a 16 year old girl). OMG, I'm still crying over that!!

A true classic and an excellent shot! So sad to hear beackzz's story...I had an uncle that once gave me a piece of cheese! That was about all!

they started out as an awesome set of wheels "55'56'57'", then they started listening to the public wanting seating for four .then they lost their curb appeal sharp capture

Loved the two seater T-Birds but Ford got greedy in my humble opinion and went big beginning in 1958. Too bad...always thought this car could have been developed to compete with the Corvette back in the day. Great shot...would make nice wallpaper for a 22" monitor. Just bought the Canon 5D Mark III...now to get out and put it to work.
