Description
A.K.A. Adventures in Mesh Lighting, Part Deux.
My second attempt at proper mesh lighting, this time with a bit of color added. I also used a crude transmap to cut off the idiotic Dracula collar from the otherwise stellar Lynette's Dark Nights set, available from DAZ if you ask nicely and/or give them some money. (You'll probably have better luck with that second one.)
I learned something about getting good hair, though. You may notice that the bangs look a damn sight better than the rest of it; I'm pretty sure that's because I adjusted the bump and opacity settings on the former, whilst leaving the latter untouched. Of course, it could also be that the modified colors simply pick up the light better.
The metal's rather flat as well. I think I saw how overly bright it looked "Princess" and overcompensated. It didn't occur to me until much later that they're using completely different lighting models anyway. Ah well.
Next set will have some actual backgrounds in it, I swear.

You're doing some really good work and I like that you aren't afraid to experiment to get the results you want.
