Just an older individual spending his day's wandering around trying to learn how to capture better images than i am used to-Just learning for the past few month's and still realising all the beauty that i like other's always took for granted was alway's standing right in front of me-Although late in year's now.I wish i had come across Photography long long ago rather than stumble upon it as a past time.I do not believe in false comment's since this only deludes the individual. Nor do i believe that i should comment out of kindness.Being honest is important since we learn from our mistakes which i am doing every day. Many people here make their living from their work and need your honesty to continue doing so,If you do not want to comment honestly in-case your upset someone? Then elect not to comment.SIMPLES

What a clever photo and Heron, Pete. I love the clear feathers, and that red shine on the water very much.

Yes, I've tried this before with herons and they are so easily startled. I like the composition here and that you've got him looking out into the lake. Also wondering what is causing the red reflection on the foreground water surface?!
AZBO
The reflection is being caused by a life jacket on a board at the pond edge
